Updated July 2026 with current Indian retail prices.
Eneba is a legitimate Lithuanian marketplace, not a scam, but you buy from third party sellers, not from Eneba itself. For Indians it has two real advantages nobody else in this class offers: genuine INR pricing with UPI checkout, and India region Steam wallet and PSN gift cards that sidestep region locks entirely. Treat individual game keys with marketplace caution: check region, pay traceably, screenshot everything.
Key facts
- Marketplace model: third party sellers, Eneba referees. Same category as G2A, with stricter seller onboarding claims
- Trustpilot around 4.4 from roughly 305,000 reviews, 11 percent of them 1 star, mostly refund and region disputes
- Real INR prices and UPI checkout, verified live from an Indian connection in July 2026, the only store here where that is true
- The killer products for India: Steam wallet INR codes and PSN India cards, region proof by design
- Refunds: 14 days, but only while the code is unviewed. Reveal it and eligibility ends. Disputes are refereed by Eneba, not guaranteed in your favor

Eneba is the key site Indian gamers keep recommending to each other for one specific reason: it shows prices in rupees and takes UPI, which almost nothing else in this market does. It is also a marketplace where the seller behind your key is a stranger, which is the part the recommendations usually skip. Both things are true at once, and this review holds them together.
For where Eneba sits among every store we have reviewed, our keys guide for India has the full map. This page is the Eneba specific answer: the company behind it, the buyer protection fine print, the UPI history, and the one product category where it beats everyone.
What Eneba actually is, and who runs it
Eneba is a real company with a traceable address: JSC Helis play, registered in Vilnius, Lithuania, founded in 2018 by two Lithuanian entrepreneurs, and in November 2025 it took a 10 million euro loan from ILTE, Lithuania’s national development finance institution. That is not the profile of an exit scam. What it is not is a store. Eneba is a marketplace: when you buy a key, a third party seller supplies it, Eneba processes the payment, holds the rules, and referees disputes.
The platform’s own protections are worth knowing precisely, and worth reading less generously than Eneba’s marketing invites. Sellers pass identity checks and are scored on delivery and dispute rates. If a key is faulty or already redeemed you have 14 days to claim, but read the refund rule properly, because both halves matter: you can claim within 14 days while the code is unviewed, and separately you can claim a code that turns out to be invalid or already redeemed. What you cannot do is view a working code, change your mind, and get your money back. That is the fine print behind most angry reviews. What you will not find anywhere in Eneba’s actual terms is a guarantee that disputes resolve in your favor. The terms do the opposite: they state that sellers are solely responsible for the products they list. Eneba referees, it does not indemnify. The number to keep in your head is 11 percent, the share of one star reviews among its roughly 305,000 Trustpilot ratings. The 4.4 average is real, and so is the minority who hit region locks and reveal rule refusals.
The legitimacy spectrum: where this store sits
Every key site question comes down to one axis: who are you actually buying from. Publisher authorized stores sell keys the publisher gave them. First party gray stores buy keys cheap in other regions and resell them on their own account. Marketplaces let anyone sell to you with the platform as referee. All three models are legal to buy from in India, the difference is what happens when a key goes wrong.

The Eneba card: what you are actually getting

Eneba in India: INR, UPI and the gift card trick
Eneba detects Indian visitors, prices in rupees and offers UPI at checkout. We verified this ourselves from an Indian connection in July 2026: the checkout serves Razorpay UPI and netbanking, with prices in rupees. One caveat worth carrying: UPI support on international stores has a history of appearing and vanishing without notice, so treat it as a feature of today rather than a promise. Cards and PayPal remain either way, and PayPal adds a dispute channel Eneba does not.
The feature this review exists to point at: Eneba sells India region gift cards, Steam wallet codes in rupee denominations running from ₹100 all the way to ₹4,000 that only activate on Indian Steam accounts, and PSN India cards. A gift card cannot be the wrong region for you by design, which converts marketplace risk into the safest product type it sells. Buying wallet codes at a few percent under face value and then shopping Steam’s own India prices is the quiet optimal move here, and pairs well with the timing in our Steam sale calendar.
Concretely, if you have ₹2,000 to spend today: buy Eneba’s India Steam wallet codes at a small discount, then shop Steam India’s own sale prices with them. That is cheaper than a full price Steam purchase and carries none of the region lock risk that game keys do.
Does Eneba actually beat Steam India prices?
Here is the arithmetic Eneba’s percentages hide. Its discount badges are computed against US and EU list prices, and Steam already gives India its own regional pricing: Elden Ring is ₹3,599 here against 59.99 dollars in the US. So a headline 47 percent off a European price frequently lands within 10 to 15 percent of what Steam India was charging anyway, and on a bad day above it. On a marketplace this matters twice over, because you are carrying seller risk for a discount that may not exist. Price the Steam India number first, then decide whether the risk is being paid for.
Where Eneba genuinely wins for Indians, from documented community purchases: older and indie titles at prices Steam India never touches, The Witcher 2 under ₹100, Citizen Sleeper for ₹30, older AAA around ₹800 that sits at ₹1,800 on Steam, plus coupon stacking that gray stores run constantly. Where it loses: current AAA, where thin margins meet region lock risk. One documented case from an Indian buyer: a key sold as GLOBAL that still refused to activate in India, with no way to contact the seller directly, only Eneba support and patience.
How to buy on Eneba without getting burned
- Prefer gift cards and wallet codes over game keys when both exist, region risk drops to zero
- On any game key, read the region line like a contract. GLOBAL usually works in India, but exceptions are documented, and India specific or Europe tagged keys mean exactly what they say
- Check the seller’s rating and volume before price. A few rupees saved from a two review seller is bad math
- Pay UPI or PayPal, never store unnecessary card details, and screenshot the order page and the key reveal moment
- Test the key on day one. Your refund right survives only while the code is unviewed, so a key you sit on for a week is a key you have already paid for
How we reviewed this
This review is built from Eneba’s own published terms and refund policies, its company registration and funding records, the current Trustpilot distribution, a checkout loaded from an Indian connection in July 2026, and documented Indian buyer experiences across community threads. We did not take a free key, a coupon or a placement fee from Eneba, and the marketplace caution in this review is the part their affiliate program would prefer we soften.

Is Eneba legit or a scam?
Legit. Eneba is a registered Lithuanian company, founded 2018, solvent enough to raise a 10 million euro loan from Lithuania’s national development finance institution in late 2025, with about 4.4 on Trustpilot across roughly 305,000 reviews. It is a marketplace though: third party sellers supply the keys, so individual purchases carry seller level risk that the platform referees rather than eliminates.
Does Eneba accept UPI in India?
Yes. We checked from an Indian connection in July 2026: Eneba’s checkout serves Razorpay UPI and netbanking alongside cards, with prices in rupees. It is the only store in this comparison where that is true. Payment options on international stores can change without notice, so if UPI is missing on the day you buy, cards and PayPal still work and PayPal gives you a dispute channel of its own.
Are Steam wallet codes from Eneba safe for Indian accounts?
The India region wallet codes are the safest thing Eneba sells. They come in rupee denominations, activate only on Indian Steam accounts, and cannot be the wrong region by design. Buying them at a discount and spending on Steam India directly is the lowest risk way to use the platform.
Why was my GLOBAL key from Eneba not working in India?
Publishers sometimes carve exceptions out of nominally global keys, and Indian buyers have documented exactly this failure. You cannot contact the seller directly, so open a dispute with Eneba support immediately. Faulty keys are covered for 14 days, but note what Eneba does not promise: its terms make the seller responsible for the product, not Eneba. Pay by a method with its own chargeback route and you keep a second lever.
Is Eneba cheaper than Steam in India?
On older and indie games, often dramatically, documented buys include AAA back catalog at less than half Steam India price. On new releases, rarely by much: key discounts are set against US and EU prices, and Steam India regional pricing already absorbs most of that gap. Compare against the rupee price on Steam, not the discount badge.
How is Eneba different from G2A?
Same species, different temperament. Both are marketplaces with third party sellers. Eneba runs tighter seller onboarding, native INR and UPI for India, and India region gift cards, which G2A cannot match. The buying rules are identical though: check region, check seller, pay traceably, and do not assume either platform will make you whole.
What happens if a key I bought gets revoked later?
Revocations are documented on Eneba, including a Path of Exile wave where publisher clawbacks killed purchased keys. Your protection window is 14 days, beyond that a revocation usually becomes a loss. It is one more reason the gift card aisle beats the key aisle for anything valuable.
Does Eneba have an app or do I need the website?
Both exist and neither matters much: purchases land in your Eneba account and keys arrive on screen and by email either way. What matters more is keeping the account secured with a real password and 2FA, since your purchase history is your evidence in any dispute.
