Quick Answer: A complete gaming setup under Rs 1 lakh in India in 2026 gets you a Ryzen 5 5600 plus RX 6600 PC build at Rs 55,000 to Rs 58,000, a 1080p 144Hz monitor, a proper mechanical keyboard, a gaming mouse, headset, chair, and desk. This setup runs Valorant at 200 to 300fps, CS2 at 150 to 200fps, and handles all current AAA titles at 1080p high settings. It is the sweet spot where everything you buy is quality and nothing feels like a compromise.

PC Build: Ryzen 5 5600 + RX 6600

The Ryzen 5 5600 plus RX 6600 is the most recommended 1080p gaming combo in India under Rs 70,000 for the PC. The RX 6600 runs Valorant at 200 to 300fps, CS2 at 150 to 200fps, and handles every current AAA game at 1080p high or ultra settings with 60fps or better.

My first full gaming setup was Rs 52k total when I was 21. Ryzen 5 5600G iGPU, 16GB, 500GB SSD, Rs 10k monitor, Rs 3k chair. That setup got me to Crown in BGMI PC.

Why RX 6600 over RTX 3060

The RX 6600 at Rs 19,999 delivers better 1080p gaming performance than the RTX 3060 in most games and costs Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 less in India. The only areas where RTX 3060 wins are DLSS support and CUDA compute tasks. For gaming only, RX 6600 is the clear value winner at this budget.

Component Notes

MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi (Rs 8,499): B550 over A520 gives PCIe 4.0 support, better VRM for stable power delivery to the CPU, and built-in WiFi. Worth the extra Rs 2,000 over A520 boards in a proper gaming build.

Samsung 870 EVO (Rs 4,499): Best SATA SSD for longevity and reliability. Still running strong. The Samsung 870 EVO has one of the best track records for not dying after 2 to 3 years of daily use. 500GB is enough for Windows plus 5 to 6 large game installs. Plan to add a second 1TB drive in year 2.

Lian Li LANCOOL 205 (Rs 8,999): Covered in detail in our best gaming cabinet under Rs 10,000 guide. Two 200mm front fans, excellent airflow for the RX 6600 thermal requirements, clean cable management. The cabinet upgrade from a budget Rs 3,000 case to this one is visible and worthwhile at the Rs 1 lakh budget level.

Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze (Rs 4,999): 650W is the right wattage for Ryzen 5 5600 plus RX 6600. Leaves headroom for an RX 6700 or RTX 4060 upgrade without needing to replace the PSU. 80 Plus Bronze certified, reliable brand.

Monitor: LG 24GN600-B: Rs 13,999

The LG 24GN600-B is an IPS panel at 144Hz, 1ms GTG response time, and has AMD FreeSync Premium. At Rs 13,999 it’s the best 1080p 144Hz IPS monitor available in India in this price range. IPS gives noticeably better colours and viewing angles compared to TN panels at the same price.

Paired with the RX 6600, you’ll be hitting 144fps consistently in Valorant and CS2. FreeSync keeps the image smooth even when frame rate dips below 144fps in heavier scenes. This is the monitor the RX 6600 deserves.

Keyboard: Zebronics MAX Plus Mechanical: Rs 2,499

The most popular budget mechanical keyboard in India. Outemu brown switches (tactile, not clicky), full size layout, RGB per-key backlighting. Solid build for the price. The switch feel is good enough that most people who start here don’t feel urgent need to upgrade for 12 to 18 months.

If you touch type and don’t need switches with audible feedback, get the brown switch version. If you like clicky feedback, the blue switch variant is the same price.

Mouse: Logitech G102 Lightsync: Rs 1,799

The G102 is a reference-grade gaming mouse. The HERO sensor (on the updated Lightsync version) is accurate, no prediction or smoothing, consistent at all DPI settings up to 8000. Lightweight at 85g. Ambidextrous shape works for most hand grips. Logitech build quality at Rs 1,799 is exceptional value.

For competitive FPS where aim precision matters, the G102 outperforms Indian budget mice at 3x the price. This is one purchase you won’t regret.

Headset: HyperX Cloud II: Rs 5,999

The Cloud II is one of the most recommended gaming headsets in the world at any price under Rs 10,000. 53mm drivers, virtual 7.1 surround sound via USB adapter, memory foam earcups, and a detachable noise-cancelling microphone. Sounds clearly better than headsets at the same or higher price from Indian brands.

Footstep detection in Valorant and CS2 is noticeably better with the Cloud II compared to the Cloud Stinger. At the Rs 1 lakh setup budget, this is the right headset to buy.

Chair: Green Soul Beast Series: Rs 7,999

At the Rs 1 lakh budget, a proper gaming chair is included. The Green Soul Beast at Rs 7,999 is the best value gaming chair in India under Rs 8,000. See the full review in our best gaming chair under Rs 10,000 guide. 100kg weight capacity, adjustable lumbar and neck support, 155 degree recline.

Desk: Green Soul Phantom: Rs 7,999

140cm wide, 25mm thick top, monitor riser shelf, built-in cable management grommet. The right size for a single monitor setup with room for speakers and accessories. Full review in our best gaming table India guide.

  • GTA V: 80 to 120fps at 1080p high settings
  • Cyberpunk 2077: 45 to 60fps at 1080p medium settings (playable, not ideal)

Upgrade Path After This Build

In year 2 or 3:

  • RAM upgrade: Add another 16GB kit (same model, dual channel already), Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,500
  • Storage upgrade: Add a 1TB NVMe SSD, Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000
  • GPU upgrade: Replace RX 6600 with RX 7700 XT or RTX 4060 Ti when prices drop, Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000
  • Monitor upgrade: Move to 1440p 165Hz when GPU is upgraded, Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000
