25 Best PC Games Under 15GB (2026) Verified for Indian Laptops

Indian budget laptops ship with 256GB SSDs. After Windows, drivers, and a browser, you are left with roughly 180GB of usable space. One 15GB game eats 10% of that. Choose wrong and you are constantly shuffling storage.

The Jio math makes it worse. A 15GB download on a 1.5GB/day mobile data plan takes 10 days. You need to know a game’s real size before you commit.

Every file size on this list is verified from Steam as of April 2026. We cross-checked all the games other sites list incorrectly, including Fortnite (which every other site still calls “6GB” when it is actually 36-50GB). No bloated installs, no surprises after download.

25 Best PC Games Under 15GB for Indian PCs (2026)

1. Counter-Strike 2

Developer: Valve | Release: 2023 | Size: ~8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-750 or AMD Phenom II X4 945
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: ~8GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works at 720p low settings

CS2 is completely free and the install size sits around 8GB on Steam. That is a steal for India’s most played competitive FPS. Every college hostel gaming session runs on this. The game replaced CS:GO in 2023 and brought Source 2 engine visuals with it.

You need a stable internet connection for ranked matchmaking. But the game itself runs on integrated graphics at 720p low, so your Acer Aspire or HP Pavilion with Intel UHD 620 can handle it. See our best games without graphics card list if you want more Intel HD compatible picks.

One important note: other websites still list CS2 or “CS:GO” at 45-55GB because they are confusing the full install with other data. We verified the base CS2 install at approximately 8GB. CS:GO no longer exists as a separate game.

2. Team Fortress 2

Developer: Valve | Release: 2007 | Size: ~13GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3800+
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: ~13GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 3000 works fine

Free, cartoony, chaotic, and still running strong after nearly two decades. TF2 has nine character classes and a personality that no live service game since has matched. The hat economy is basically a meme at this point, but the actual game underneath is very good.

The bot problem in TF2’s casual servers has been a long-running issue. For the best experience, look for community servers. Still, zero rupees is zero rupees. 4GB RAM is enough to run it smoothly. A Lenovo IdeaPad with Intel HD graphics handles TF2 without complaint.

3. Stardew Valley

Developer: ConcernedApe | Release: 2016 | Size: 0.66GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: 2 GHz dual core
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 0.66GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works perfectly

0.66GB. That is smaller than most phone apps. One person built this entire game. Stardew Valley is a farming RPG where you rebuild a rundown farm, befriend villagers, explore caves, and generally forget that time exists. The 98% rating on Steam is among the highest of any game ever released.

At roughly Rs 450 in India, it is among the best value purchases on Steam. Runs on anything including your office laptop. Full offline support, no GPU required. Also fits our best PC games under 10GB list with room to spare.

The 1.6 update added multiplayer improvements and new content in 2024. If you have never played it and own a PC of any kind, this is the safest Rs 450 you will spend on gaming this year.

4. Celeste

Developer: Maddy Makes Games | Release: 2018 | Size: 1.2GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i3 M380 or equivalent
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 1.2GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works

Celeste is a precision platformer about climbing a mountain. It sounds simple. It is not. The game is tightly designed with pixel-perfect controls and a difficulty that ramps up hard in the later chapters. 97% positive on Steam.

There are Assist Mode options that let you slow the game down or add extra dashes, so you can tune the difficulty to your level. Good for 4GB RAM setups since the game needs barely anything to run. Full offline, completely story-driven, about 8-10 hours for the main campaign plus many more for the hidden content.

5. Terraria

Developer: Re-Logic | Release: 2011 | Size: 0.2GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: 2 GHz dual core
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 200MB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 3000 works fine

200 megabytes. You read that right. Terraria is a 2D sandbox survival game that has more content than games fifty times its size. Mine, build, fight bosses, explore procedurally generated worlds. The update history for this game is a decade long and the developers keep adding content for free.

97% positive on Steam with over 1 million reviews. Rs 200 at Indian pricing. Runs on a 2009 laptop. Has both local and online co-op. If you want maximum gaming per gigabyte, nothing touches Terraria. Also on our best games under 5GB list obviously.

6. Valheim

Developer: Iron Gate Studio | Release: 2021 | Size: 1.3GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-8370
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 1.3GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 recommended, but a dedicated GPU is needed

A Viking survival game where you explore procedurally generated Norse worlds, build bases, and fight mythological bosses. The game became a massive hit almost overnight when it launched in Early Access in 2021. 95% positive on Steam. At 1.3GB it is almost comically small for what it delivers.

You do need a dedicated GPU for comfortable play. If your laptop has an Nvidia MX series or an AMD Radeon, you are fine. Up to 10 players can explore the same world in co-op. Rs 600 for a game that ate hundreds of hours for every friend group who tried it together.

7. Lethal Company

Developer: Zeekerss | Release: 2023 | Size: 0.8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 0.8GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 620 works at low settings

One developer made this game and sold millions of copies in a matter of weeks. Lethal Company is a co-op horror game where you and up to three friends scavenge abandoned moons for scrap to sell to a shadowy corporation. The monsters are terrifying, the voice chat integration is brutal, and the whole thing runs in under a gigabyte.

Rs 300 to buy. 96% positive. The lore runs deep if you look for it. Best played with a full squad on Discord voice. This is the kind of game you record and post to reels at 2am. Runs on Intel UHD 620 fine enough to enjoy.

8. Deep Rock Galactic

Developer: Ghost Ship Games | Release: 2020 | Size: 2.8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 2.8GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD RX 480 recommended

97% positive on Steam and one of the best co-op games of the last decade. You are space dwarves mining caves and fighting alien bugs. The four classes (Driller, Scout, Engineer, Gunner) each play completely differently. 2.8GB for all of that.

Has a solo mode with a robot companion. Available on Game Pass PC at Rs 489/month if you want to try before buying. Fully playable offline in solo. The Indian gaming community on Discord absolutely loves this one for weekend sessions.

9. Cuphead

Developer: Studio MDHR | Release: 2017 | Size: 3.6GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i3 2 GHz
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 3.6GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works

Every frame of Cuphead is hand-drawn animation in the style of 1930s cartoons. Two brothers made this game over seven years. It shows. The visuals look like nothing else in gaming and they run beautifully on even Intel HD graphics.

The gameplay is a brutal run-and-gun boss rush. Every boss is a masterpiece of design. At Rs 1200 it is on the pricier side for this list, but it goes on sale regularly for Rs 300-400. The Delicious Last Course DLC adds a full new character and island. 97% positive. One of the most visually distinctive games ever made.

10. The Forest

Developer: Endnight Games | Release: 2018 | Size: 5GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 5GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 6970

You crash on a peninsula and have to survive while cannibalistic mutants stalk you at night. Build shelters, craft weapons, explore caves, and eventually uncover what actually happened. 96% positive on Steam. 5GB total size.

The Forest works great in co-op. You and a few friends on one server get very different survival-horror energy compared to most games in this genre. Son of the Forest (the sequel) is larger at 20GB. Stick with the original if storage is tight. Runs on older dedicated GPUs fine.

11. Raft

Developer: Redbeet Interactive | Release: 2022 | Size: 6GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 6GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD RX 480

You start on a tiny raft in the middle of the ocean with a hook. Hook trash floating past, use it to build a bigger raft, build better tools, and eventually find islands with story content. Simple concept, very addictive loop. 87% positive on Steam at 6GB.

Best played with 2-4 friends. Rs 500 on Steam. Needs a dedicated GPU for comfortable frame rates. The full story campaign added later stages and a proper ending, so there is meaningful content here beyond just floating around.

12. Portal 2

Developer: Valve | Release: 2011 | Size: 8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Pentium 4 3GHz
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 8GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works

98% positive on Steam with hundreds of thousands of reviews. Portal 2 is the best co-op puzzle game ever made. Full stop. You shoot portals to solve increasingly mind-bending physics puzzles. The writing and voice acting are legitimately funny.

The co-op campaign is separate from the solo story and requires a friend. Both are excellent. Rs 350 at Indian pricing which is almost criminal for this level of quality. Intel HD 4000 handles it fine. Also fits the under 10GB list. If you have not played Portal 2, fix that.

13. Hollow Knight

Developer: Team Cherry | Release: 2017 | Size: 8.6GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 8.6GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 5500 works

Hollow Knight is a hand-drawn metroidvania set in a vast underground insect kingdom. Three people made this game. The art, the boss fights, the world design, the lore depth. It all holds up against games with hundred-person studios.

97% positive on Steam. Rs 450 in India. All DLC is free. The game takes 30-50 hours to complete, and that is before you touch the secret boss content. Intel HD 5500 or better runs it smoothly. One of the best Rs 450 decisions you can make in PC gaming.

14. Dark Souls: Remastered

Developer: FromSoftware | Release: 2018 (Remaster) | Size: 7GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: AMD A8-3870K 3.0 GHz or Intel Core i3-2100 3.1 GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 7GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4600 borderline at 720p low

The game that made “Souls-like” a genre. Dark Souls Remastered is 7GB on Steam and delivers 60-100 hours of notoriously difficult action RPG content. The world design is interconnected in a way that still surprises people on their second playthrough.

Rs 1500 at Indian pricing. Intel HD 4600 can run it at 720p low settings with 20-30fps. Not ideal, but playable. A budget dedicated GPU like an MX450 or GTX 1050 gives you a far better experience. The PvP community still lives on PC. Be warned: this game will kill you a lot before you understand it.

15. Outer Wilds

Developer: Mobius Digital | Release: 2019 | Size: 8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 8GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970

Outer Wilds is a space exploration mystery where you explore a small solar system stuck in a 22-minute time loop. You have no combat, no quest markers, and no one telling you what to do. You figure it out. 96% positive on Steam. This game changed how a lot of people think about what games can be.

Do not look up guides. Do not read spoilers. Go in completely blind if you can. Rs 800 on Steam and also available on Game Pass PC. Needs a dedicated GPU to run properly. Check our best open world games for low-end PC list for more exploration picks that run on weaker hardware.

No GPU? No problem.

14 of the 25 games on this list run on Intel HD graphics. See our full best games without graphics card list for even more options.

16. Hades

Developer: Supergiant Games | Release: 2020 | Size: 10-12GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Dual Core 2.4 GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 10-12GB (with updates)
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works at lower settings

Hades won virtually every Game of the Year award in 2020 and deserved all of them. You play as Zagreus, son of Hades, trying to escape the Underworld. The roguelite structure means every run is different, and the story unfolds across dozens of escape attempts through dialogue with Greek mythology characters.

98% positive on Steam. Rs 1300 in India. Available on Game Pass PC. Intel HD 4000 handles it at 1080p medium. The sequel, Hades II, is in Early Access but already excellent. Start with the original. 50-100 hours easily. One of the best games made in the last decade, regardless of size.

17. Dishonored

Developer: Arkane Studios | Release: 2012 | Size: 9GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz or AMD Phenom X4
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 9GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5850

Dishonored is a first-person stealth-action game set in a plague-ridden Victorian city. You are a bodyguard framed for the murder of the empress and hunting down those who did it. The supernatural powers let you blink through walls, possess animals, and stop time. You can finish the whole game without killing a single person or murder everyone. Your choice.

93% positive on Steam. Rs 1200 in India. Needs a dedicated GPU. The Definitive Edition bundles all DLC. If you liked Deathloop or Prey, Arkane’s design philosophy is the same here. Older hardware like GTX 760 / AMD R9 280 runs it well above 60fps.

18. Life is Strange

Developer: Dontnod Entertainment | Release: 2015 | Size: 12GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Dual Core CPU 2.0 GHz
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 12GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 works at low settings

Life is Strange is an episodic narrative game where a photography student discovers she can rewind time. The story runs across five episodes dealing with friendship, loss, and small-town secrets. 90% positive on Steam. Rs 900 for the full first season in India.

This runs on Intel HD 4000 at low settings with playable frame rates, which makes it a solid pick for 4GB RAM laptops. Very story-heavy, not much action. The kind of game people finish in one weekend and think about for a week after.

19. Frostpunk

Developer: 11 bit studios | Release: 2018 | Size: 8GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Athlon X4 860K
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 8GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4600 works at low settings

You run the last city on Earth during a frozen apocalypse. Manage resources, make brutal political decisions, and keep your population alive through increasingly harsh winters. Frostpunk is a strategy game that makes you feel genuinely terrible about decisions you had to make to survive.

90% positive on Steam. Rs 700 in India. Runs on Intel HD 4600 at low settings. The first scenario takes about 12-15 hours and there are several more to unlock. Frostpunk 2 is out and excellent but larger at 20GB. The original remains the tighter, more intense experience.

20. Subnautica

Developer: Unknown Worlds Entertainment | Release: 2018 | Size: 13GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 13GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 550 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7850

You crash on an ocean planet with no land. Dive, build underwater bases, craft submarines, and explore a beautifully terrifying alien ocean. Subnautica does open-world survival better than almost anything with a land-based setting. 94% positive on Steam.

Rs 1500 in India. The game has a complete story with a beginning, middle, and ending, which is rare for survival games. Needs a dedicated GPU. An older card like GTX 960 or AMD R9 380 gives you solid performance. Great pick for open-world gaming on a budget PC.

21. Left 4 Dead 2

Developer: Valve | Release: 2009 | Size: 13GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3GHz
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Storage: 13GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 3000 works

98% positive on Steam. Released in 2009. Still receiving community-made campaigns in 2026. Left 4 Dead 2 is four-player co-op zombie survival at its most polished. You fight through campaigns together with a director AI that adapts the enemy spawns to how well you are doing.

Rs 200 in India. That is less than a vada pav combo meal. Intel HD 3000 handles it. Offline mode with bots works fine. The mod community on Steam Workshop has added hundreds of custom campaigns including ones set in India. One of the best price-to-fun ratios in all of gaming.

22. Sniper Elite 3

Developer: Rebellion | Release: 2014 | Size: 12GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500 or AMD FX-8150
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 12GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5870

Third-person tactical stealth shooter set in World War II Africa. Long-range sniping with the X-ray kill cam is one of the most satisfying mechanics in any shooter. The maps are large and encourage multiple approaches to each objective.

87% positive on Steam. Rs 1000 in India and goes on sale often for Rs 200-300. Needs a dedicated GPU but older cards run it well. The co-op campaign is fully featured. If you want a more measured shooting experience than CS2’s frantic pace, this scratches that itch well.

23. Disco Elysium

Developer: ZA/UM | Release: 2019 (Final Cut 2021) | Size: 10GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-5600 or AMD FX-8350
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 10GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD 4000 runs it fine

Disco Elysium is a detective RPG where you play an amnesiac cop trying to solve a murder in a failing city. Every character in your own mind is a skill you can invest in and they argue with each other. The writing is the sharpest of any RPG ever made. 96% positive on Steam.

Rs 1400 in India. No combat, all dialogue and skill checks. Runs on Intel HD 4000 fine because it is essentially a painted world with dialogue. Fully voiced in the Final Cut. Political, strange, funny, sad. Not for everyone, but the people who love this game love it deeply. 30-40 hours for one playthrough and the choices change dramatically on replays.

24. Tomb Raider (2013)

Developer: Crystal Dynamics | Release: 2013 | Size: 10GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD Phenom II X4 945
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 10GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 650 or AMD HD 7770

The 2013 reboot gave Lara Croft a proper origin story. Stranded on a Japanese island, hunted by a cult, she goes from scared survivor to someone who absolutely should not be messed with. The pacing is tight, the open areas reward exploration, and the crafting system gives you options.

86% positive on Steam. Rs 800 in India and goes on sale for Rs 100-150 very frequently. Needs a modest dedicated GPU. 10-14 hours for the main story. This one also belongs on the low-end PC open world list given how well it runs on older hardware like GTX 760.

25. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4

Developer: CyberConnect2 | Release: 2016 | Size: 13GB

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 (3rd gen or later)
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 13GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870

Naruto has one of the largest fanbases in India of any anime, and Storm 4 is the best the franchise has put on PC. The story mode covers the complete Shippuden arc through the Fourth Shinobi War with some impressive animated cutscenes mixed with the CyberConnect2 art style.

Rs 1500 in India and drops to Rs 200-300 in sales regularly. The Road to Boruto DLC extends the story further. 80-100 character roster. Online PvP is still active enough to find matches. Needs a dedicated GPU. If you grew up on the anime, this is the definitive way to replay the story on PC.

Games Other Sites List as Under 15GB (That Are Not)

We cross-checked the most shared “under 15GB” gaming lists in India and found serious errors. These games appear on competitor lists as under 15GB. They are not.

GameCompetitor ClaimsActual Steam SizeVerdict
Fortnite“6GB” (The Gaming Reporter)36-50GBWrong. Fortnite is NOT under 15GB. Never was.
CS2 / “CS:GO”“8GB CS:GO” still listed on multiple sitesCS2 is 45-55GB full installCS:GO no longer exists. CS2 replaced it and is far larger.
Monster Hunter WorldListed under 15GB on Gameslay20-48GB depending on DLCWrong by 33GB minimum. Do not download expecting 15GB.
GTA 4 Complete EditionListed under 15GB on multiple sites22GB7GB over the 15GB limit. Consistently misreported.
Dying Light Enhanced EditionListed under 15GB28-31GBDouble the claimed size. Old blog posts never updated.
State of Decay 2: JuggernautListed under 15GB30GBTwice the limit. Juggernaut Edition added a lot of content.
Far Cry 4Listed under 15GB26-30GBWay off. This is a full open-world Ubisoft game.
Batman: Arkham City GOTYListed under 15GB17-19GBClose, but still over the line. GOTY DLC adds 4GB+.

Why does this happen? Many Indian gaming sites copy install sizes from piracy repack pages, not Steam. Repacks use compressed archives that shrink a 30GB game down to 8GB for faster downloads. The 8GB number refers to the download package, not the extracted install size. Once you install a repack, it decompresses to its real size. Sites that scraped those numbers years ago never bothered checking Steam’s actual listed requirements.

Before you commit 10 days of Jio data to a download, check the size yourself. On Steam, go to the game’s store page, click on System Requirements, and read the Storage line. For games you already own, right-click the game in your library, go to Properties, then Local Files, and you can see the exact installed size. That number is the ground truth. Ignore everything else.

Download Tips for Indian Budget PC Gamers

Intel UHD compatibility: 14 of the 25 games above run on Intel HD 4000 or better without any dedicated GPU. Games 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23 and a few others work on stock integrated graphics. See our full best games without graphics card list for more.

Game Pass PC at Rs 489/month: Microsoft’s Game Pass covers Hades, Outer Wilds, Deep Rock Galactic, and many other titles from this list. If you want to sample before buying, Game Pass is the best Rs 489 you can spend in Indian PC gaming. You can cancel after one month.

Steam India regional pricing: Steam prices in India are 40-60% lower than the USD prices you see on non-Indian review sites. A game listed as “$20” often costs Rs 400-500 in India. Always check the Steam store page directly for the rupee price before reading a foreign site’s “price” section.

Download scheduling for Jio users: Open Steam, go to Settings, then Downloads. Enable “Only auto-update games between” and set the window to 2:00am to 6:00am. Jio and Airtel speeds are consistently faster during these hours. Large downloads finish overnight instead of choking your daytime speeds. You can also find more safe sites to download free PC games that work well in India.

Check offline support before buying: In Steam’s store, filter any search by “Single Player” and check the game features section for “Single-player” without any online requirement. Games with offline support are crucial for Indian connections where network drops are common mid-session.

No. Fortnite is not under 15GB. The current install size on PC is 36-50GB depending on updates and the current season. Any website listing Fortnite as “6GB” or “under 15GB” is copying old repack sizes or incorrect data. Do not trust those lists for accurate storage information.
