Most budget gaming laptops sold in India ship with a 256GB or 512GB SSD. After Windows, drivers and Steam, you are left with roughly 150GB of real space. Hades (20 GB)

Supergiant Games | 2020 | Steam

One of the best games of the last five years, full stop. You play as Zagreus escaping the Greek underworld, collecting boons from the Olympian gods on each run. The combat is fast and fluid, the art is gorgeous, the voice acting is exceptional, and the story unfolds naturally across dozens of runs rather than feeling like a grind. Hades II (11 GB)

The sequel shifts to Melinoe, Zagreus’ sister, fighting Chronos the Titan of Time. Even in early access it has more content than most finished games. A martial arts revenge game where you age every time you die. Start as a young fighter, and after enough deaths you are old, fragile but more powerful. Short but intensely replayable. Needs a dedicated GPU.

Cuphead (4 GB)

Every frame of Cuphead is hand-drawn in 1930s cartoon style, and the art alone justifies the purchase. Beneath the visuals is a punishing run-and-gun boss rush that demands pattern memorization and quick reflexes. The Delicious Last Course DLC adds more bosses and a new character. Just Cause 3 (10 GB)

A physics sandbox disguised as an open-world game. Grappling hook onto a helicopter, tether two cars together, blow up a fuel depot, wingsuit off a cliff. Outer Wilds (8 GB)

You explore a handcrafted solar system that resets every 22 minutes. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (20 GB)
